The Planned Parenthood Action Fund is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to political advocacy to promote the Planned Parenthood mission. Each year, Planned Parenthood affiliate health centers provide health care including routine gynecological exams, breast and cervical cancer screenings, contraceptive services, family planning, sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, and HIV testing and education to three million women, men, and adolescents.

WOODBRIDGE—Ed Potosnak, Democratic Candidate for New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District, was contacted on Wednesday by concerned voters who were targeted with e-mails from Congressman Lance’s Congressional office this week. Mr. Lance sent last minute e-mails to voters from his House e-mail address touting his conservative stances on legislation including one focused upon the Second Amendment (see attached e-mail). The letter lists pieces of legislation Lance supported while in Congress, with no indication that it is in response to a constituent letter or inquiry.

WOODBRIDGE-- Ed Potosnak, Democratic nominee for New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District, is sharply critical of Governor Christie’s decision to cancel the ARC tunnel transportation project. Potosnak has been an outspoken supporter of the ARC tunnel, while his opponent, incumbent Congressman Lance has been unsupportive of the train improvement project. Studies show that completion of the ARC tunnel would increase home values of those living along the Raritan Valley Line by up to 25% and shave hours of weekly commuting time.

HUNTERDON COUNTY—On Tuesday, Ed Potosnak, Democratic Candidate for New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District, announced the endorsements of Hunterdon County leaders. Lois Zarish and the Hunterdon County Democrats, Mayor Charles Daniel of Califon, and Hunterdon County Democracy for America extended their support to Potosnak’s campaign to be their next Congressman. Potosnak and Lance were invited to debate on October 18 in Califon. Potosnak spoke to voters for about 30 minutes on the issues, while Mr. Lance was a no-show.
