WHAT:
On Tuesday August 10, 2010 Congress passed the Education, Jobs, and Medicaid Assistance Act, which will allow struggling school districts around the country to rehire teachers who were laid off due to state and local budget cuts. In New Jersey, this will mean $268 million for our schools. The Education Jobs Fund Bill will restore or protect the jobs of nearly 4,000 qualified teachers. As a teacher, Ed knows how important this law will be for New Jersey's working families and students. Ed Potosnak's opponent, Congressman Leonard Lance, voted against this bill.
